Wild Gambler, the safari slot where you pay to keep the wilds

The idea behind Wild Gambler sits in its name. Most slots give you one spin button. This one has two: SPIN and LOCK & SPIN, and each has its own stake box above it. The second lets you keep the wilds from the last spin and pay extra for the privilege.
The help screen
When the game opens, a blue panel explains the feature: spin with wilds locked in place for an increased chance to win, the bet varies with wilds in view, and you click on symbols to add or remove wilds. In that screen the line stake is RM0.01, the normal stake RM0.20 and the Lock and Spin stake RM0.70.
Reels and lines
The frame is lashed-together bamboo over an orange savanna with acacia trees. Line numbers 1 to 20 run down both sides. The card letters wear animal prints: leopard spots on the Q and K, tiger stripes on the A, a grey hide on the 10. The picture symbols are a leopard, a zebra, a rhino and a pink flamingo. The old page said the wilds are lions, which none of our four spins happen to show, and it added that locking can help but is never free.
The bar holds WIN and TOTAL WIN, a LINE STAKE of RM0.01, AUTO PLAYS, a PAYTABLE skull and an AUTO-LOCK ON switch in the corner.

It spins the reels again with the wilds held where they are. The help screen says the bet varies with the wilds in view, and you can click symbols to add or remove wilds from the lock.
How much does a locked spin cost?
It depends on the wilds on screen. With a RM0.01 line stake, the normal SPIN stake read RM0.20 and the Lock and Spin stake read RM0.70 in one screen. With no wilds showing, both boxes read RM0.20.
Is locking the wilds worth it?
The game charges more for the locked spin because the chance of a win is higher. It's a price, not a bargain, and the old page said the same: locking can help, but you pay for it.
