Heart of the Frontier, a Wild West slot on LPE88
A frontier town with a sheriff, a bandit and a card table. The two wilds grow to fill a reel, then move each spin until they meet in a showdown.
The logo says Heart of the Frontier, whatever the old page title claimed. It's a Wild West slot set in a wooden frontier town, with a sheriff, a bandit, a saloon dancer and a woman in a feathered shawl on the reels, and playing cards tossed among poker chips for the low symbols.
The wilds walk
The game opens with a notice about its two wilds. The sheriff (a red-haired woman with a rifle and a star on her hat) and the bandit (a dark-haired woman with a pistol) expand to fill the entire reel, then stay locked on the reels and move on every spin.
When both are on screen, the intro says, they lock in place and duel at high noon in Showdown free games. The old page added that the sheriff moves right and the bandit left until they fall off the reels.
Symbols and a five-of-a-kind
The woman in the feathered shawl is a tall symbol that fills most of a reel, and in the top screenshot she stands on reels 1 and 2 at once. The other pictures are a sheriff's star badge and a horseshoe, then playing cards from 9 to A, with poker chips resting on the face cards and aces.
The last spins bring a line of five 10s. The game flashes 5 OF A KIND across the reels, and the win bar settles on RM0.52 at RM0.01 a line on 20 lines.

The logo on the reels says Heart of the Frontier. The old site dropped the r, and the old address keeps that spelling.
How do the sheriff and bandit wilds work?
The intro screen says they expand to fill the whole reel, then lock to the reels and move on every spin. The old page added the direction: the sheriff walks right, the bandit walks left, until they drop off the reels.
What are the Showdown free games?
