Japan Fortune: sumo wilds, daruma dolls and a card gamble
A sumo wrestler who only lands on the middle reel, red daruma scatters and a card-war gamble after each win. Read from four 918Kiss screens, pay table included.
Red paper lanterns hang along the top bar, and a lake with a pagoda sits behind the logo. Japan Fortune is a 50-line slot, and the 918Kiss version comes with a proper pay table screen, which the old page skipped in favour of review notes about a different studio's features.
The sumo and the daruma
The wild is a sumo wrestler, and the pay table is clear about his limits: he only appears on reel 3 in normal games, he expands to cover the whole reel before pays are counted, and any win that uses him is tripled. That's why every symbol on the table has a second column headed WITH.
The scatter is a red daruma doll. Two pay 2, three start the feature, four give "9+ feature" and five "33+ feature". With the sumo, the numbers climb to 27+ and 99+. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total bet.
The geisha and the castle each pay 3333 for five, or 9999 with the wild. The red torii gate pays 333, the lucky cat and fortune cookie 333, A, K and Q 150, and 10, J and 9 pay 99. Everything pays left to right.
After a win
A win of 3.58 on a 0.50 bet lit up a GAMBLE button with red dice in the corner. Tap it and you get Gamble War: a banker card face up, five player cards face down, and X4 to X10 multipliers on the cards still to come. You press BIG or SMALL, or Take Score to leave with what you have.
