Golden Roaster (Golden Rooster 88) and its five gold levels

The game calls itself Golden Rooster 88 on screen, whatever the old menu said. It's a rooster-themed slot, not a cockfighting game: the bird here is the zodiac rooster as a good luck charm, drawn with a bright red comb on a round gold badge. The old page listed a target and a shack among the symbols, a sign of a bad machine translation. We go by the ten screenshots instead.
Gold levels on the left
The loading screen shows three cabinets, each topped with an open treasure bowl. Once the game starts, the left side becomes a ladder of gold buttons: 1 GOLD SYMBOL (8 credits), 2 (18), 3 (38), 4 (68) and 5 GOLD SYMBOLS (88 credits). Below them is BET with a x0.10 setting "per spin". In all our screens the lowest level is lit and TOTAL BET reads 0.80, which is 8 credits at 0.10. An ACTIVE SYMBOLS box at the top left shows small icons and an ALL UP badge, so buying more gold levels seems to switch on more of the premium symbols. The screens don't show the higher levels in action.
Symbols and ways
The reels mix red roosters, silver ingots, a carved jade dragon medallion, gold coins stamped 招財進寶 and a purple diamond with an upside-down 福. Card ranks from 9 to A wear little crowns and jewels. REEL WAYS runs down the left edge, and a win shows as a highlighted path rather than a line.
On the right are GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI bars, each with a rooster head in a different colour and a keyhole, plus a round gold spin button, GAMBLE, info and settings.

Questions people ask
Why Roaster and not Rooster?
The old site's menu spelled it Golden Roaster, and we kept the name so the old address still works. The logo inside the game reads Golden Rooster 88.
What do the gold symbol levels mean?
The left column lists five levels: 1 gold symbol for 8 credits, 2 for 18, 3 for 38, 4 for 68 and 5 for 88. At the lit level of 1 gold symbol and a bet of x0.10, the total bet reads 0.80, which fits 8 credits times 0.10.
How are wins counted?
By reel ways, not lines. In one screenshot three 9s on the first three reels light up with the note 1 WAY, PAYS 0.50.
