Heavenly Ruler never got described on the old page, which drifted off to a British bookmaker and other studios' games. The screens tell a clearer story. The scroll on reel 1 carries three characters that name Wu Zetian, the Tang empress who ruled China in her own right, and the rest of the reels are her court.
The court on the reels
The empress herself appears in a pink and gold headdress. Around her are a scroll with her name, a pink peony, a red folding fan, a golden seal wrapped in a dragon and a ribbon, and a peacock that stacks two or three high on one reel. The palace at sunrise, red steps leading to a golden hall, is the largest picture on the reels. Card letters from 9 to A come in bright gradients.
Bet and a small win
