Funky Monkey, a one-line fruit machine with bongo drums on top
A cabinet-style 3-reel slot with a grinning chimp on the glass, one payline and a pay table from any three BARs up to three bongo drums.
Most 918Kiss slots have five reels and dozens of lines. Funky Monkey is the opposite: a single gold cabinet with three reels, one payline and a pay table printed on the glass, with a cartoon chimp in pink sunglasses grinning over it. Two more machines stand either side in the background, just for show.
The pay table
The glass lists nine pays, each for one, two or three coins:
- three bongo drums: 800, 1600, 2500
- three palm trees: 400, 800, 1200
- three straw huts: 200, 400, 600
- three pairs of sunglasses: 100, 200, 300
- three bunches of bananas: 80, 160, 240
- three 3 BARs, 2 BARs and 1 BARs: 60, 40 and 20 per coin
- any three BARs mixed: 10, 20, 30
Pays go up in step with the coins, except at the top, where three coins earn 2500 instead of 2400.
Buttons
You choose the coin value with the arrows (0.25 here), then press BET ONE, BET TWO or BET MAX. The Play 1 to 3 coins box on the side shows the stake: 0.5 for two coins, 0.25 for one. AUTO PLAY sits at the bottom right.

How many lines does Funky Monkey have?
One. The word PAYLINE runs down the side of the reel window, and only symbols on the middle row count.
Should you play three coins?
Only if you're happy to triple the cost of every spin. Most pays are exactly three times the one-coin amount. The only extra is the top prize, 2500 for three coins instead of 2400.
What does any 3 BAR pay?
A mix of 1 BAR, 2 BAR and 3 BAR on the payline pays 10 coins per coin bet. Our last screenshot shows it: 1 BAR, 2 BAR and 3 BAR at one 0.25 coin paid 2.5.
